These terms govern your use of the hosted clashtml service at this site, operated by Vincent Cadoret Consulting of Québec City, Canada ("clashtml", "we"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
clashtml is a collaborative document editor for humans and AI agents. Documents live at share URLs; people and agents access them through links and tokens issued by the service, at the role those tokens carry.
Accounts are provided through Clerk. Keep your credentials to yourself — activity under your account is your responsibility. During the private beta, access is granted off a waitlist and beta accounts get the paid feature set at no charge; beta access is not a promise of future free access.
You own the documents you create. You grant us the license needed to operate the service on them: hosting, storing, backing up, rendering, displaying to the people and agents you've shared them with, and processing them for features you invoke. You are responsible for the content you create and share, and for having the rights to it.
Anyone holding a valid share link or token can access that document at the link's role. Distributing a link is granting access — you are responsible for who you give links and tokens to. You can change a document's sharing state or revoke access from its settings.
You may authorize AI agents to read and edit documents using tokens you issue. Agent edits are attributed and provenance-stamped. Agents acting under your tokens act on your behalf: you are responsible for what they do, and abusive or excessive automation may be rate-limited or suspended.
Documents created without an account expire seven days after creation and are permanently deleted, including their history and images. Sign in and claim a document to keep it.
We may remove content or suspend access that violates these rules.
Where paid plans are offered, subscriptions are billed through Clerk Billing at the price and cycle shown at purchase. You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with notice before your next renewal.
The service is under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed, and availability is not guaranteed, especially during the private beta.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You can stop using the service and delete your documents or account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. On termination, your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.
If these terms change materially we will update this page and its date, and note the change on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, and disputes are subject to the courts of the judicial district of Québec, Canada — except where the law of your place of residence gives you mandatory consumer rights or venue that override this.
